After falling out with Louis Van Gaal, Klose was one of the two strikers shipped out by the Dutchman during his time in Bavaria. However, the move did not halt Klose’ progress as he continued his prowess in front of goal scoring 48 goals for the Italian side. At 36, Klose broke the world record for most goals scored by a player at the World Cup scoring the second goal on that torrid night for Brazilian football.

Allianz currently owns the naming rights of the stadium for 30 years however this name cannot be used while hosting UEFA and FIFA tournaments during the UEFA matches it is known as Fußball Arena München and during FIFA matches it is known as FIFA World Cup Stadium Munich. Allianz brought the 50 per cent shares of the stadium from Tsv Munchen by paying 11 million euros in April 2006.
