England, a country which often comes to mind when football is the topic, has an elaborate history, and supporters who regularly demand excellence. And fortunately for them, they usually receive that excellence. However, their performance in the 2014 FIFA World Cup was extremely poor, and has led many to believe a fresh wave of players is needed to succeed again among the top nations. If that is the case, these are the ten players to make it happen.

The young forward started off in the Manchester United youth system and has shown huge potential ever since. He’s scored 30 goals at the Premier League level between Man U, Arsenal, and Sunderland (loan), but has been drilled by injuries. Despite his inconsistency at the club level, he has been solid for England. Scoring 14 goals in only 33 matches. If he can manage to keep up that ratio, he could be a star for his nation. Could.

United’s young left-back has had a shaky start to his career. He has found himself a fairly regular spot in the team, yet he hasn’t rewarded his manager for the opportunity. He is only twenty years old, with all of the talent in the world, but he needs to show us something.

The goalkeeping, defence and midfield will be in for a major shake up with Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan already identified as a leading target to come in.
