3) Federico Fazio
Fazio arrived at Tottenham as an experienced defender who had played more than 150 games for Sevilla and had even captained the club at times. However, life in England got off to a rough start as he was sent off in his first game for a rough challenge on Aguero. He followed the horror show with the same output in the Europa league game. He did fairly okay for the rest of the campaign before the following one where he featured just once in the entirety of the first half of the season. He returned to Sevilla briefly before another loan spell at Roma followed. In Italy though, Fazio has settled well and is a mainstay for the Italian side alongside Kostas Manolas. His fine form has already earned him a ticket to Russia, where he will likely partner alongside Manchester City’s Otamendi.
