Five Biggest Wins In EPL History

Published

on

  1. Tottenham 9-1 Wigan, 22nd November 2009:

Tottenham back in 2009 was known to be bold and in an upbeat of attacking play. Back in a cold night of 2009, no one would have even predicted this kind of a result. After the second have, came the goals, so did the thrashing for Wigan. Peter Crouch opened by heading one in the back of the net, followed by the deadly Defoe scoring a 7-minute hat trick, being the second fastest hat trick in PL history. Wigan keeper Chris Kirkland was in all time action where he had to work overtime and deliver some astonishing saves, otherwise, the score line would have been much worse.

Aaron Lennon scored the 5th one, Defoe scored twice after that, in 69 and 87 minutes. David Bentley put one in the back of the nets and later on Nico Kranjcar put a full stop with the finishing goal.
