CM) Granit Xhaka- Arsenal
What Arsenal’s passing game lacked over the years was a deep lying playmaker, someone who could spray some mesmerising passes from the deep and with the ability to win back the ball too. However, this season it looks like they’ve found the missing piece of the puzzle with Granit Xhaka’s signing. The Swiss midfielder, 24, has played for the likes of Basel and Gladbach. Dubbed as the young Schweinsteiger, Xhaka has the potential to become the best in the game.
CM) Ousmane Dembele- Borussia Dortmund
Marcos Rojo can probably tell you just how good Dembele really is. The young winger ran riot against United in the pre-season demonstrating his world-class talent. Dembele was chased by the likes of Barcelona in the summer but opted to sign for Dortmund. Under Tuchel’s guidance, Dembele can continue his growth in a much calmer environment. He has been so impressive for the club that his performances have already caught the eyes of Real Madrid.
CM) Sadio Mane- Liverpool
Brought in for a hefty price of 35 million Euros, Sadio Mane is a perfect Jurgen Klopp type of player. He has speed, is good on the break and has an impressive work-rate. His attitude could prove to be problem; however, if Klopp can get him to keep his cool, Mane may turn out be the signing of the season. He has been impressive in his early days at Anfield and scored a sumptuous goal at the Emirates on his debut.
