In a recent interview, Paul Pogba’s elder brother Mathias Pogba confirmed that he had played along with Mahrez at Quimper, which is in the seventh tier of French football. Their friendship has blossomed well with time but it was a little messy to start with. Mathias revealed he was unhappy with Mahrez’s untidiness and he had to domesticate him for the first two to three weeks. He has suggested Mahrez to get physically stronger and believes that the Algerian can be as good as Paul Pogba.

With the Foxes seeing some departures, Claudio Ranieri needed some apt replacements. Upfront, Islam Slimani is still adapting to the Premier League. Ranieri has some youngsters under his belt but they are yet to mature and be ready for the toughness as Ranieri failed to sign some significant options both for the wings and the defense. Leicester have been too reliant on Vardy and Mahrez to score which has seen them struggled when both these men struggle.
