5 times the big clubs were beaten by smaller teams in the Capital One Cup
  1. Milton Keyes Dons 4-0 Manchester United 2014/15 2nd round :

It was the first season for Louis Van Gaal as Manchester United’s new manager after David Moyes was sacked the previous season. United were already under crisis to do well after not qualifying for the Champions League and MK Dons just made their task even harder. Van Gaal fielded his second choice team and they were hammered badly. Delle Alli was the star performer in the match and it was shambolic for United when even Kagawa, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck couldn’t find the back of the net.
