Jamie Vardy was a typical young lad who was full of optimism of playing professional football at a famous and recognized academy. Born in Sheffield, he was registered in the Sheffield Wednesday Academy. The happiness of this enrollment lasted for a very less time as Sheffield released him as they felt he was too short to have a good successful career in football. He was only 15 then and couldn’t take it well. After a difficult 8 months, he surprisingly grew 20 centimeters and started playing in the Sunday League football. He started earning a modest £30 per week then and once again kick started his football career.
