Whilst Barcelona and Real Madrid have all the fortunes to cherry-pick the best players from across the globe, the rest have inclined towards a recruitment drive that has seen them nurture unknown talents to transmogrify them into one of the best.

Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are two teams who have consistently bought players from subaltern leagues of France, Portugal, and Ukraine and even from South-America at relatively low prices, and developed them into world-beaters.
