4) Hugo Lloris (France)
Barring a mistake or two, Lloris had a quite and steady campaign with Spurs. The experienced goalkeeper has been around long enough to know when to hold his ground. With LorentKoscielny’s injury, Lloris is likely to be the senior most figure in the French squad. Deschamp will be wary of a repeat of the mess of 2010, when the French squad had a massive fallout with their manager. Les Blues are major contenders for lifting the title in Russia with their golden generation. If they have to make it count, Lloris needs to be at his splendid best.
