5 Footballers Who Were Better At Other Sports
  1. Gabriel Batistuta:

Batistuta is well known for his time with Italian side Fiorentina. Alongside Rui Costa, he made a good partnership with the Portuguese International upfront. He scored 207 goals in 332 appearances for Fiorentina just missing out by one goal on Kurt Hamrin’s all-time record of 208 goals. The damage to the cartilage hampered his football career, which saw him join the sport of Polo thereafter. He took training under world’s number one ranked player in Adolfo Cambiasso and has went on to own a team called ‘La Gloria’ which obviously play in purple.
