Batistuta is well known for his time with Italian side Fiorentina. Alongside Rui Costa, he made a good partnership with the Portuguese International upfront. He scored 207 goals in 332 appearances for Fiorentina just missing out by one goal on Kurt Hamrin’s all-time record of 208 goals. He took training under world’s number one ranked player in Adolfo Cambiasso and has went on to own a team called ‘La Gloria’ which obviously play in purple.
