8) Stuart Pearce
Modern football fans will remember Stuart Pearce for his time as England U-21 coach. However, Pearce had quite a career as a professional footballer. He joined Nottingham Forest from Wealdstone. He was unsure about his future whilst at Nottingham, and began advertising his services in and around the club. Nevertheless, he went to represent Forest in more than 400 games before eventually retiring in ’02, playing for Manchester City. Pearce, recently, was sacked as Nottingham Forest’s manager.
