11) Rickie Lambert
The 6ft 2in striker found it difficult to make an impression during his brief spell at Liverpool. He ended his emotional stay at Merseyside after just one season. He began his career with Blackpool, though, he made just 3 appearances. During his training with Macclesfield, Lambert wasn’t earning a single penny so had to resort to working in a Beetroot factory, putting lids on jars. He left the club for Stockport, where his career as a footballer truly began.
