Argentinian wizard Mauro Icardi has been one of the most prolific young strikers in Serie A and this year, he shared the Cappocanorie award for the most number of goals in the Italian top flight with Luca Toni, both of whom racked up 22 goals.

The 22-year has been Inter Milan’s sole shining light amidst their gloomy campaign last season and has established a reputation of being one of the most promising youngster in Europe.

His talent has become the talk of the town for quite sometime now. Icardi is reportedly scouted by some top shouts of Europe such as Chelsea and Liverpool and the latter specially, are heavily linked with a move for the striker this summer.

With the gaping hole of Luis Suarez yet to be cemented, the Reds are targeting the La Baneamata striker to solve the striking dilemma that has been plaguing them since the departure of the Uruguayan. Although there hasn’t been any confirmed reports of a bid, the move is still on the cards.
