The 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul was a historic one and will be still fresh in the minds of Liverpool fans. It was Liverpool against AC Milan in the final and the Merseyside club trailed by 3 goals at the end of the first half. To everyone’s surprise, Liverpool fought back and scored six goals in six minutes of which the first was scored by Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard. The goal was an inspiring one and let to a marvelous comeback which then went into penalties, won by Liverpool eventually.
